THE GENERAL PUBLIC IS HEREBY INVITED TO THE PUBLIC MEETING OF THE ISLAND COUNCIL IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 11 OF THE RULES OF ORDER ISLAND COUNCIL WHICH WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 28TH AT 9:30 AM IN THE V.A. LOPES LEGISLATIVE HALL.


EVERYONE CAN INSPECT THE DOCUMENTS PERTAINING TO THE MEETING AT:
- THE OFFICE OF THE ISLAND REGISTRY GOVERNMENT GUEST HOUSE AND/OR
- ON WWW.STATIAGOVERNMENT.COM/ GOVERNMENT/ISLANDCOUNCIL.

    • Voting for the initiative proposal
    • Voting proposal & decision reallocation reserve

    During the Central Committee meeting held on October 21, 2024, Councilman van Putten presented an initiative proposal for the reallocation of the designated reserve.
    However, during the subsequent Island Council meeting, Council member Simmons presented the proposal on behalf of Councilman van Putten, who was absent at the time and had requested Simmons to act on his behalf.


    The Chairlady reminded attendees that the agenda item and its details were still classified as confidential, as the content was not yet finalized for public release. The full details of the proposal will be made available to the public at a later date.


    The initiative proposal was passed by acclamation.
    Proposal and decision for reallocation of designated reserve proposal passed by acclamation.
