Central Committee meeting

The members of the Island Council expressed their condolences to those within the community who have recently experience loss.

The agenda was adopted as presented.

The list of Incoming Documents was ratified as presented.

The list of Decisions & Commitments was ratified as presented.

The Commissioner of Finance, Mr. Merkman, introduced the agenda point. The Commissioner's Assistant, Mr. Hooker, gave a presentation.

Round 1: Members of the Island Council posed a number of questions.
The meeting was adjourned for a recess of 1 hour and 23 minutes (3:37 PM - 5:00 PM Statia Time) to allow the Commissioner and his team to prepare their responses.

Round 2: Council Lady Raquel Spanner-Carty followed up by raising her remaining questions. Commissioner Merkman will provide a response at a later stage to Council lady Spanner-Carty's question regarding the Energy subsidy. 
Chairman Glenville Schmidt also posed additional questions.

• Commissioner Leerdam informed that she will be travelling for medical reasons and will attend meetings online. 
• Commissioner Merkman informed that he will be travelling over the weekend for a badminton tournament.
