THE GENERAL PUBLIC IS HEREBY INVITED TO THE PUBLIC MEETING OF THE CENTRAL COMMITTEE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 11 OF THE ISLAND COUNCIL COMMITTEE ORDINANCE WHICH WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, 6TH NOVEMBER 2025.

    Commissioner of Tourism, Ms. Leerdam, requested that an additional closed-door agenda point, entitled Tourism Logo, be added to the agenda.
    This agenda point was added as agenda point 8 (closed-door).

    Commissioner of Social Housing, Mr. Merkman, introduced the agenda point and presented information (MEMO) pertaining to the draft Island Ordinance. It was noted that the document will be submitted to the Executive Council for consideration and approval on Tuesday, 11 November.
    Round 1:
    - Councilman van Putten provided his remarks.
    - Council Lady Spanner-Carty raised several questions for clarification.
    - Chairman Schmidt also posed questions.


    Commissioner Merkman addressed some of the questions during the meeting and noted that the remaining questions from Council lady Spanner-Carty will be answered in writing within two weeks.
    The agenda point was discussed and concluded: This agenda point will not be sent to the Island Council meeting of 20-November.

    Chairman Schmidt closed the public session of the Central Committee meeting at 3:00 PM.
